Getting started

What should I put in my first message?

What your business does, what you'd like people to see, and where the video is going: Instagram, your website, an ad. If you're working toward a date, mention that too.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within a day. Send a message, call, text, or build a package on the pricing page, and I'll get back to you.

Is anything booked when I send a message or a build?

No. We have a quick call so I understand what you do and what you're after. Then I send a quote with a finish date. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Small businesses around the Pikes Peak region: restaurants, salons, shops, and home-service crews who want locals to know their name. If you've got something worth showing off, I'd love to hear about it.

Where do you film?

At your place. I'm based in Colorado Springs, and shoots within 25 driving miles of downtown (Monument, Fountain, Falcon, Manitou, and the like) have no travel fee. I'll go farther too. See travel fees below, or the map on the contact page.

02

Shoots & edits

How long does a shoot take?

Most shoots take a day or less, at your place. Packages run from up to 90 minutes of filming (Starter shoot) to up to 8 hours at up to 2 locations (Full day).

How long does the edit take?

Edits of your own footage are usually ready within 5 business days, and monthly clips within 7 of each shoot. Other filmed projects take 7 business days to 3 weeks after the shoot, depending on size. Every quote comes with an exact delivery date.

Can I get it faster?

Usually, yes. Turn on Rush when you build your package and put your date in the notes. If I can make it without moving anyone else's date, it's 25% more on your one-time items, extras included. I'll tell you before you book.

How many rounds of changes do I get?

Three per project. After each cut, you give me one list of changes and I send back a new version. If your project needs more, we can work that out.

Can you work with footage I shot on my phone?

Absolutely! Just let me know what you're wanting, we'll find the easiest way for you to send it over, and I'll cook something up for you.

Will you send me the raw footage?

You bet! All raw footage captured on shooting day is sent over along with the final edits.

What formats will I get?

It depends on the package. Filmed packages come in widescreen, vertical, and square versions. Clips come vertical and square, and longer edits add widescreen. Everything is framed for where it's going: your website, Reels, TikTok, Shorts, the feed, or an ad.

03

AI, music & usage

Do you use AI?

Not to make anything you'll see or hear. I won't use AI to make footage, people, or voices. Every shot is real footage from your business, filmed by me or sent over by you.

Do you use AI for captions?

No. I type every caption myself, unless you tell me you're fine with AI transcription.

Do you use stock footage?

Never. Every shot is real footage from your business.

Will anyone else work on my project?

Not without your say-so, and that includes AI bots. You'll be dealing with me and only me throughout the entire process.

Where can I use the videos?

Delivered videos and files are yours to use on your site, your socials, and in online ads.

What about music?

Music comes from a paid, licensed library and covers your website, social posts, and online ads. TV, radio, or streaming ads need their own music license, which I'll price into your quote if you need one.

04

Pricing & monthly plans

Are the prices on the site the real prices?

Yes. Videography starts at $650, monthly clips at $750 a month, and video editing at $225. You can build your own package and see the total before you send it. I'll give you a free quote for events, bigger shoots, or anything not listed.

Is there a travel fee?

Only for packages I film, measured in driving miles from downtown Colorado Springs. Within 25 miles is free. 25 to 60 miles (Pueblo, Cañon City, Castle Rock) is $75 a shoot. 60 to 100 miles (most of Denver) is $175 a shoot. Farther than that, I'll quote it. Monthly plans pay travel for each shoot.

Do unused monthly clips roll over?

No. If you skip a month's shoot, or send footage for fewer clips than your plan covers, the rest doesn't carry into the next month.

How do I cancel a monthly plan?

Give at least 14 days' notice before your next billing date, and that month is your last. With less notice, the plan runs one more month, which becomes your last.

What if you can't fit my monthly shoot in?

We'll reschedule it, and that month is 50% off.

Can I get social media management on its own?

It goes on top of a monthly plan. For $200 a month I post your monthly clips to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok on a schedule we agree on, write a caption for each post, and send you a short recap of how they did. Up to 8 clips a month.

Still wondering about something?
